SCC SmartTesting LIMS upgraded its features to make it software Audit Friendly. It has added more detail and expanded its coverage in respect to keep amendment Logs & Sample Life Traceable. Some features could be useful to all the laboratories following ISO-17025 process while others may be more important to Laboratories using LIMS for In-Depth analysis of its operation. This note briefly summarize the features as follows
- Sample life cycle (from registration till final report finally till scrapping or disposing of sample
- Report version amendment log: Every time a test report is amended, system keeps a log with the cause and reason that can help laboratory in causal analysis later
- Test Result Amendment log, every time a result is modified, earlier version of the test result would be stored
- Test parameter that are outsourced to other laboratories could be marked and an monthly summary of such test result could help lab in analyzing its capability and competencies.
- Out of scope was already implemented as part of the change to implement URL
- Associate instrument with the test parameter, activating the features will let you associate type of instrument or set of instruments that could be used in the test method
- At the time of result logging, user can select the specific instrument out of selection of instrument types associated with the test method
- Instrument re-calib or maintenance reminder on the basis of Usage of instrument
