SCC LIMS July release of Upgrade and Minor Fix have been released for deployment, all the existing users are requested to send acknowledgement to SCC so that the upgrade can be deployed on their application. Following additional functionality have been added into SCC LIMS software for calibration as well as Material Testing.
1. Multiple Job assignment to single engineer, a new process flow interface has been implemented which would enable a project administrator to select a group of Jobs created for projects to be assigned to a single engineer or approver.
The interface is convenience over existing interface of job assignment which requires project administrator to go into each job card and assign engineer/approver from there. This confirms belief in us by laboratories who are seeking to get more efficient.
The other minor fixes implemented in invoicing module
1. layout was getting jumbled if Note field in invoice was not empty, the bug has been rectified.
2. Format version for data capturing, has been implemented, absence of this was resulting in incorrect display of data that has used format prior to modification. Change done to retain format definition of earlier version so that the data stored using the format prior to modification displays and behave appropriately as per its earlier format.
