SCC LIMS is completely modular LIMS application with simple steps to enable or disable workflow steps or other modules. It has various modules that includes Quotation, Customer Order, Invoicing, Inventory, time management and testing lab module. Laboratory workflow could also be customised to add steps or remove steps from the path of sample progressing for e.g. Sample collection and schedule management of collection department could be switched on if sample collection is part of your lab offering.

    g. Automatic assignment to Laboratories relating to test parameters
    h. Lab In-charge can assign its staff as analyst on a single or a set of samples
    i. Job card could be generated by the application in ODT format
    j. ROA (Result of Analysis) could be published in PDF or ODT format. Standard testing procedures could be attached with the ROA template to provide labs with document to log.
  3.  Test result logging and work flow management
    a. After the testing is complete, results could be logged on the database (calculations can be embedded in data capturing formats)
    b. Results entered are audit trailed, old data are archived and new details saved
    c. Reports could be customized to look same as existing lab reports
    d. Automatic versioning of Final Report generated by the system
    e. Flexible test results details could be printed on a report
    f. All samples reports could be invoiced distinctly with references of report numbers in each invoice line, thus speeding up reconciliation with customer accounting staff and lab accounting function
  4. Stock management and Lab Management
    a. Manage sample stock within the workflow
    b. Manage regent stock and get automatic alert when stock is lower then min. level
    c. Manage Calibration Instrument, expiry notification, re-calibration on usage or time period
    d. Can upload pdfs and supporting documents, PDF thus uploaded can be added into appendix of the test report
    e. Manage environment log through the LIMS, exception report at the end of day and automatic incident creation by LIMS
    f. Can manage meter/instrument movement log and generate the meter movement log from LIMS database

    a. User and role based access to modules and screens

    Does the applcation support non-nabl based calibration and testing requirements? These type of requests require a different certificate design (without NABL Logo) and a separate sequencing series.

      Dear Harish
      Yes, application take NABL/Non NABL indicator at the time of sample booking/instrument receipt and apply the appropriate sequence series accordingly. However from printing it on different template perspective, it is neutral as normally NABL/Non-NABL letter heads (certificate paper) are different thus the design layouts sought by various labs from us are with empty page head sections. However, if any lab wish this requirement, report formats could be designed differently that can be selected by the user when creating report from the application.
